I applied for F.I.T. this past Feb. I am as always very nervous about my photo taking skills. I got an email from FIT about a Send In Portfolio. First thing i thought was "This isn't for me, lol this is a Mail in Thingy. I know I have to go in and have an interview." Well sooner or later I found myself eating my words. And I had to Mail In my Portfolio. Now this doesn't sound as it should. But it is, On the Mail in Portfolio it is required to send in The Home test Pictures, Answer 6 or more Short Answer Questions, and Write two essays : One being about two people or artists that inspired you to become an artist and changed you as a human being. And Two being A Compare and Contrast or one of the 4 example pages they gave you.
